Lina is a professionally trained psychodynamic psychotherapist. She completed a rigorous six years of professional and clinical training at WPF Therapy, one of Britain's top accredited leading institutions in psychotherapy, where she offered open ended psychotherapy for seven years. Lina has extensive experience working with a range of issues, including family dynamics, as well as working closely with artists, writers, and actors and has written an MA thesis on 'the creative process in the relational space'. She holds a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and a clinical qualification from WPF Therapy. She also hold a Ph.D. degree (not medical) in Media Politics and Human Development. Lina completed an MA degree in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Theory and Practice (Distinction) with a focus on Creativity in Psychoanalysis. In addition to her private practice, she sees clients in organisational settings within an NHS framework in East and North London. She is also undergoing training at the Institute of Group analysis.
Lina is a fully qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist and a clinical member at the BPC (British Psychoanalytic Council), the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), a trainee member at GASI (Group Analytic Society International) as well as a professional member and mentor at the (FPC) Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling and she adheres to their strict guidelines on ethical and professional standards including strict confidentiality and ongoing professional development.
